Brianne recently retired from the Washington Ballet after a 13 year career, dancing
principal roles in both the classical and contemporary repertoire. During her career as a dancer, she discovered GYROTONIC® and found it to be a wonderful compliment
to her dancing as well as to her daily life. Having a love for both dance and yoga, she finds that GYROTONIC® brings together many of the qualities that she appreciates in both disciplines- the grace, rhythm,
freedom and expression of dance, along with the strength, flexibility, focus and awareness of breath of yoga. She received
her foundation training at San Francisco GYROTONIC® with Nora Heiber. Brianne is also a professional photographer, specializing in dance,

Francesca,
born in Africa and of Czech descent, has experience teaching modern dance, ballet, tango, creative movement,
yoga, stretch and GYROTONIC® exercise. She
completed her GYROTONIC® teacher
training under master trainer Justine Bernard and is working towards her GYROKINESIS® certification. Beyond teaching, Francesca performs and
choregraphs for dance and theater companies locally and abroad. Francesca is a full-time kindergarten teacher,
plays violin and loves to paint in her spare time. She is available Saturdays from 2-8 and Sundays by appointment. Please

Christin
began her ballet training at the age of five in Salt Lake City, Utah and embarked upon her path toward a dance career with
the Ballet West Academy at the University of Utah at age 10. She also participated in summer programs
at the New Zealand School of Dance, the Hong Kong International Summer Dance School, Jacob’s Pillow and the Berlin State
Ballet. Christin continued her studies at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C.. Upon
graduation from the Kirov Academy in 2002 she joined the Universal Ballet in Seoul, Korea. Throughout her
training and career as a professional ballet dancer she has studied Pilates, Yoga, and GYROTONIC®
She is now a certified GYROTONIC® and Pilates instructor.

Heide has been a movement professional for over 20 years as a dancer, choreographer
and teacher. Her experience in Pilates, Yoga and Dance enables her to give students a unique workout experience with
a focus on alignment. She received a BFA in Dance from Purchase college and is certified with Yoga Alliance and PHI
Institute. She has performed and taught in New York, San Francisco and Virginia. She has choreographed for many
community theatre productions and is on staff with Dodgeball Theatre.

Margi has come to
us through our dear friend Melissa. She is a Washington DC native, went to middle school in Paris when her father was
stationed at the Embassy. Shopping daily for fresh food, cooking became her first passion. She graduated from the
Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Her second passion golf, left her with back problems. After
getting a breast cancer diagnosis and going through treatment, Margi found Pilates and fell in love again. Pilates
has helped her back problems tremendously and she has never felt better! After practicing Pilates for five years Margi got
her certification through BASI. She loves to share her two favorite passions, Pilates and golf.

Heather is a certified GYROTONIC® and
GYROKINESIS® instructor. She has traveled the country to expand her knowledge of this system, studying
with Justine Bernard and Tracy Monaco at Elements, Sebastian Plattenberg at GYROTONIC® Manhattan, Debra Rose at San Francisco
Gyrotonic®, and Mia Munroe in Seattle. She holds advanced certification on the specialized equipment including Leg Extension
Unit, Gyrotoner, and applications for Osteopathy. A lifelong student of movement, Heather has studied a variety of somatic/dance techniques
throughout the country. She holds a B.A. in Dance from UNC-Greensboro. When not teaching at the Pilates Room, Heather
continues her dance career as a performer and choreographer and is also a resident stage manager at Dance Place.
